Commonly Asked Questions
1. What types of lessons do you offer? I offer online lessons to all students and in-home lessons to students located in Westchester County. Lessons are tailored to the needs and interests of each student which vary from learning how to read music to performing in church to improvisation. If you're not sure if I'm the best fit for you, you can read more about my background under "What qualifications do you have as a teacher?" or send me a question through the contact form at the bottom of this page.
3. How much do lessons cost? I charge $100 for one hour, $70 for 45 minutes, and $50 for 30 minute lessons for in-home lessons, however, a trial lesson is free and students can receive a 10% discount for recommending new students.
2. What qualifications do you have? In 2020, I received my Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education with a concentration in piano/voice from Five Towns College in 2020 and I am currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in Studio Composition at SUNY Purchase College. I have been teaching piano lessons for the past 7 years. Throughout that time, I've performed as a pianist with a wide range of groups from church choirs to cover bands to jazz ensembles. I am also a NY-certified music teacher and I've taught group piano lessons to my middle school general music students.
4. How do I get started? Fill out the contact form below to let me know you are interested in taking lessons. I will reach out as soon as you can to ask you a few questions and set up a free trial lesson. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon!
